I imagine Javert as a mean, egocentric policeman. He cares of no one else except himself. Javert also believes himself to be more valuable than
the others who sorround him. He takes his role of being an o
fficer very seriously.

him think back t0 when he was a prisoner. This makes hi
m remember, that because of all the heavy duty wo
rk he
did, he has a lot of strength. His strength makes h
im save a man who was stuck below a horse and cart.

Event#2:
Javert speaks with Monsieur the Mayor. He tells him that he is so sorry he ever doubted of his person. He says how could he have ever

Event #3:
Jean Valjean meets Javert at the time of Fantine's death. He takes Jean back to prison once again. Javert is also part of teh cause of fantine's death. He shouldn't have started screaming and making a fit of something so small.

Alter-Ego:
Javert makes Jean Valjean's conscience come into the plot. He makes him confess that he is Valjean, to save the life of an innocent person. Javert has no idea of the influence he had on Jean Valjean/Monsieur the Mayor.
